I know I don't have to, but I want to. I am currently experimenting with physical hex cards, puffy paint and making my own tiles for a map. Why? Because I walked into an office supply store while reading an article about hex crawls.
I also have Worldographer/Hexographer. I know I don't need the tiles. But they were there and now they're on my table.
Thanks, looking forward to diving into this in-depth.
Excellent again! Appreciate all the links to you blog.
Office supply stores are the TTRPG players' friend.
But they make my bank account cry. And stuff isn't even expensive.
No one says you HAVE to use note cards like some of us did and still do, though 3x5 cards are still pretty darned affordable.
Something as simple as a text app on a computer or desktop will work as well. Get wild with spreadsheets for ACKS-level fun!

That sounds great!
The physical aspect of TTRPG is compelling and important. Get after those tiles and great gaming to you!
